New Haven

I have a small collection of New Haven clocks that span almost a full range of materials, thin stamped metal, wood, and celluloise, which is a forerunner to the bakelite and Catalyn plastics but that was abandoned due to its flammability.

New Haven Alarm

This one is my favorite, identified only as "Alarm", it's a nice one-day wind alarm with Art Deco styling and a classic deco face. This one is on my back logged list of to-do's for clean up.

Small 8 Day Wooden

A nice, very small wooden 8 day wind clock.

TA-TOO Jr.

The "TA-TOO Jr." I really like this little clock (it's really tiny), it clearly beloned to a smoker though. It works fine but the plastic crystal and paper dial seem permanently yellow, shame...

New Haven Early Celluloise

This is a Celluloise clock, it looks and feels like plastic but is somewhat lighter, it's a very nice, cream yellow color with white face. It's rather stark in terms of decoration and strictly speaking doesn't have any particular Deco feel to it but I like the coloring. From what I've read this is a early plastic that was largely abandoned by makers in favor of Bakelite and Catalyn since it was flammable.
