Miscellaneous

I have a number of clocks that just don't fit well into any particular manufacturers page, this is either because I don't know the manufacturer or felt like I'd never have another one of their clocks so there was no point in creating a page just for them...

English Catalyn Mantle Clock

This is a nice English made mantel clock with Catalyn accent pieces on the side and bottom. This manufacturer however didn't factor in the shrinkage...cracks ensued. The green color probably isn't really green either but I haven't gotten around to seeing what it really is (it's probably blue), one of these days I'll refinish the pieces.

Hawkeye Measured Time

One of my most favorite clocks is this laboratory timer clock from the Measured time company of LaPorte Indiana. The styling is absolutely beautiful, incorporating a "dashboard" type affect with the top part that is a timer. The effect of the top is very machine age, while the lower portion and the overall case look distinctly Art Deco. An example that function that does not have to be boring!

Sussex

A ships clock, this came off of a yaught (of a "famous person") that was moored in Lake Michigan (according to the dealer that sold it to me -I could still kick myself for not buying the matching barometer). It's a beautiful clock, the dial face is not original sadly, I had to replace it with a duplicate of the original that I did on AutoCad because it was so badly scarred up (to remove the movement is difficult and tends to mark the clock face up easily). I did stay true to the exact design and font however and I think the result is quite nice, it keeps great time as well.

Tall Case Clock

The first clock I ever made, it's a tall case clock that I built for my now college age son back when he was still very, very young. Seems like just the other day...
