No collection is complete without a few "spin to start's" and I have several nice Hammond's. Including a very nice "Machine Age" example that really does pre-date Art Deco at least for domestic clocks. I include it here since it's got a Hammond movement though it was actually made by the Best Lamp Co. read on Hammond
I'd like to have a few more Penwood's. I ususally lose out on the auction though since there are only a few that I really do want read on Penwood Numechron

I like this one Phinney Walker because it's such a nice example of the playful way some of the art deco designs morphed into future-istic styles. This small Catalyn one is made to look somewhat like a TV set. read on Phinney Walker
In cooperation with the Naval Observatory and Western Union... the Self Winding Clock Co. produced these beauties. It's case is actually a very nice burled walnut... read on Self Winding Clock Co.
I have very few Session's Clock Co.examples. I have to say I really don't appreciate most of their work, most of it seems kind of tacky. But I do like these two very much. read on Sessions
